Simplified Travel Bookings With RightRez Interface

Online travel booking available with Adonis

A joint project between RightRez Inc. and Adonis AS, a seamless XML-interface between Adonis Personnel Manager and RightRez has largely rationalized the work with  travel bookings for the third partner, LA-based Crystal Cruises Inc.  With the RightRez interface, travel requests are sent electronically from APM Crew Change Module to RighRez, which always will pick up the most cost-efficient travel route and air ticket. A confirmation, including the flight itinerary will be fed back to Adonis immediately when  the booking is made. Whenever a change in travel plan is necessary, the two systems will communicate seamlessly to give the user a full overview of each crew member travel plans at all times.

 

For customers who should not wish to use the services from RightRez, an automatic e-mail  to the travel agent can be produced as an alternative to the online booking interface.

 


New Service: Web Applicants

Adonis launches new recruitment tool

Do you want to streamline the workflow and reduce manual work with job applicants and recruitment? The new Adonis Web Applicants is a web-based service where your available positions with requirements are listed,  with possibilities for applicants to file their CV, including full competence profile and job history. The  service will be accessible from the customers own web site. By the use of styling sheets, especially prepared  for the individual customer, the applicant will get  "look and feel" experience as if he remains on the customers web pages.  The module contains functionality  to easily upload vacant positions and job requirements, as well as the possibility to screen and accept or reject any application posted. Accepted applications will have the data seamlessly transferred into the Adonis database for further follow-up by the officer in charge.  The real benefit with this service is that you don't need to move or store any of your precious and sensitive crew data outside the firewall, as the applicants will just work with an replica of a few tables.

The Sarbanes & Oxley Act, named after it's sponsors Senator Paul Sarbanes and Representative Michael G. Oxley, was approved in 2002 by the House Of Representatives by a vote of 423-3 and by the Senate unanimously 99-0.
The Sarbanes-Oxley act, commonly called SOX, also known as the Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002, is a United States federal law passed in response to a number of major corporate and accounting scandals. Laws and regulations based upon the Sarbanes & Oxley Act has later been endorsed by many other countries. It's principles of transparency, traceability and responsibility has become an international standard for all serious businesses.
Adonis Personnel Manager will be fully in compliance with the requirements deducted from the Sarbanes & Oxley Act from our 2.4 version, with release date set to January 15. 2007. From the start, APM had a design that was prepared for the changes required to maintain full transaction and maintenance log. All user actions are completely logged, with all modifications done to any vital table stored in Change Logs, which are accessible by the system administrator. By looking up online or printing the Change Log, any question like "who changed what and when" can be answered by a few clicks. The change log has been implemented for all applicable HR-modules as well as within the complete Payroll module.


Adonis Service Provider - a new product from Adonis

The Adonis Service Provider Solution,  ASPS, gives the end user web access to one or more of the following services:  ADONIS Personnel Manager, File Server Access, Adonis Case Log database, Email, as well as the standard Microsoft Office applications.

To access these services, the end user needs to be connected to the Internet, and use the web browser to access the ASPS portal. This portal prompts for a user-id and password. After a successful login the system will, based on the role of the user, grant access to one or more services.

From a crew management point of view it is possible to give the customer / ship owners separate access to the Adonis Application Manager. The Adonis Control centre lets you define end-user access by vessel /client. This means that ship-owner only has access to his/her vessels. You can control down to field level the kind of information you want to expose the your clients.

With this new product Adonis can offer small and medium sized shipping companies the service to host the Adonis Personnel Manager and give a huge flexibility and portability without the need to invest in advance software and hardware solutions.

October 30 2009: Adonis Personnel Manager rel. 2.5.1 

For more information check the what is new in the help menu.  Besides the many improvements you find described in the What is new section in the help menu. We like to point out that we have expanded the system with new module, the course scheduler.  The course scheduler module enables your course coordinator to follow-up and plan training sessions, internally and with external course suppliers. To avoid double booking of crew members this module is closely integrated with the rotation planning modules.  Contact us for more details.  

September 25 2009: Adonis Replicator release 2.0 

This release contains the possibility to check and query the export files. The we also move the programming platform and it is now compatible with Windows 7. Check the online documentation for the more information.

May 28 2009: Adonis Personnel Manager rel. 2.5.0

September 2009 Royal Caribbean expands fleet

Like the other vessels of the RCCL fleet Adonis Personnel Manager is now in production onboard the Eclips and Equinox. Onboard Adonis is integrating with TTG and the Kronos Time registration system. Data onboard is replicated to the office for furhter processing and reporting to the US Authorities and integration with the JDE Accounting system.


August 2009 North Sea Tankers BV goes for Adonis

After a short implementation period North Sea Tankers has taken in production the Adonis Personnel Crew Management and Payroll module. Next phase in the project is the integration of the STAR Maintenance system.


June 2009 Northern Marine Management (Germany) GmbH in production

After a successful conversion or their in-house system NMM(Germany) has taken in production the Adonis Personel Manager (crew and payroll). They choose to go for Adonis Service provider platform. Which enables them to give their principals located in Cyprus to access the system.


June 2009 Crystal Cruises expands

CCI as one of the leading companies in the Cruise industry has taken in production the crew rotation module. According to Erick Meijer product manager of Adonis,  the challenge of this setup was the unique cooperation of the different user roles onboard and the roles in the different crew management offices.  For example a graphic rotation plan covering the deck department on board one vessel is maintained at three different sites. the vessel it self and the crew management office in Oslo and Manila. Every crew movement is automatically linked to an itinerary and travel tickets are booked via the travel booking module right rez. This was a project that integrated seamlessly 4 of our existing modules; Adonis Replicator, crew change, rotation, and travel booking. Next step in this project is to activate the payroll module.


May 2009 Norwegian Maritime Services joins the Adonis Family

NMS goes for the Adonis Personnel  Manager and Payroll, like many other customers they will be using the Adonis Service Provider platform to ensure a stable operation and to have a 24/7 access their critical crew and payroll information.


April 2009 Kovning Shipping AS moves on to the ASP platform

April  2008:  Exmar Shipmanagement goes live with Adonis

Antwerp-based Exmar Shipmanagement, a subsidiary of stock-listed Exmar Group, has gone live with Adonis for their Belgium head office and agents around the globe. The production start was made in the beginning of April,  after an seamless integration between Adonis Personnel Manager and domestic payroll system Servico was proven succesful.  Ahead in the project is deployment of Adonis Onboard Modules to all the vessels in the Exmar fleet.


December  2007:  Bontveit joins Adonis ASP user group

Newly established ship owner Bontveit Rederi AS, located at Atloy, Norway,  has chosen Adonis ASP as their platform for Crew Management and Payroll. Bontveit Rederi AS will be operational from end of January 2008 with their first vessel, M/V "Bona Sea".


August 2007:  First UK User Forum coming up

Adonis UK users will join forces in Glasgow, Scotland in the first regional User Forum, scheduled to take place at Hilton Glasgow Hotel on October 2. 2007. This come-together  is planned to become an annual event, as a service  to our  growing number of Adonis users within the UK.


July 2007: Hurtigruten Group ASA moves to Adonis ASP Platform

One of Norway's largest maritime companies, Hurtigruten Group ASA, has decided to extend their long-term cooperation with Adonis by moving all their maritime HR and Payroll operations from local servers to the Adonis ASP platform. Their 14 medium size cruise vessels will have local Adonis installations and replicate their crew and payroll data directly with Adonis ASP, which will be used by the personnel and payroll staff located in Narvik, Tromso and Stokmarknes.

Hurtigruten Group ASA runs the tourist-magnet 11-days scheduled cruise along the Norwegian cost from Bergen to Kirkenes, by several travel magazine readers  proclaimed  the "The World's Most Beautiful Voyage". They also arrange seasonal cruises to the Artic and Antarctica, in addition to operate a large number of car ferries and fast boats along the North Norwegian cost. February  2007:  Shipman signs up with Adonis 

Shipman AS, located in Austevoll, south of Bergen, has chosen Adonis Personnel Manager as the tool for their increasing Crew Management operations.  Shipman AS is a family owned company, founded in 1993 as a management company for the business enterprise of the Østervold Family.
